System security
An important consideration is protecting the system and its data
from unauthorized access. Your SCO OpenServer system includes security mechanisms
designed to meet the C2 class of ``trust'' as defined by the Trusted
Computer System Evaluation Criteria
(also known as the Orange Book).
As the system administrator, you can configure the protection mechanisms
to the requirements of your site.
``Administering user accounts''
explains how to add users
to the system and how to configure the default security scheme.
For additional information on protecting your system, consult
``Maintaining system security''.
