SCO Update Service
The SCO Update Service is a new service that provides
electronic delivery of operating system changes, giving
you control of the upgrade process and allowing you
to more accurately budget for the cost of system upgrades.
The SCO Update Service has two options:
-
Basic Maintenance, included as part of your SCO OpenServer license fee,
provides a convenient way for you to keep your system
current via access to maintenance and security updates.
-
In addition, you can purchase the Upgrade Service option,
which gives you early access to new product features
that will be included in the next SCO OpenServer release.
This option entitles you to receive all Upgrade Packs,
up to and including the next release of SCO OpenServer.
SCO Update Service licenses
are either sold separately or bundled with
SCO OpenServer systems. SCO Update Service
Maintenance and Upgrade Packs are made
available over the Internet (or, optionally, on CD-ROM).
