Error messages
SCCS commands produce error messages on the diagnostic output
in this format:
ERROR [name-of-file-being-processed]: message text (code)
The code in parentheses can be used as an argument to the
help(CP)
command to obtain a further explanation of the message.
Detection of a fatal error during the processing of a file
causes the SCCS command to stop processing that
file and proceed with the next file specified.
