Authen::SASL::Perl::LOGIN - Login Authentication class
use Authen::SASL qw(Perl);
$sasl = Authen::SASL->new( mechanism => 'LOGIN', callback => { user => $user, pass => $pass }, );
This method implements the client part of the LOGIN SASL algorithm, as described in IETF Draft draft-murchison-sasl-login-00.txt from August 2003.
The callbacks used are:
The username to be used for authentication
The user's password to be used for authentication
the Authen::SASL manpage, the Authen::SASL::Perl manpage
