rmail(ADMN)

rmail -- handle remote mail received via UUCP

Syntax

rmail [ -D domain ] user ...

Description

rmail interprets incoming mail received via uucp(C), collapsing ``From'' lines in the form generated by mailx(C) into a single line of the form ``return-path!sender'', and passing the processed mail on to sendmail(ADMN).

rmail is explicitly designed for use with uucp and sendmail.

The -D option allows the specification of a non-standard transport domain. The default domain is .UUCP.
