Nailing useful windows

Nail windows so that they travel with you when you move from one part of your workspace to another. You might want to do this for a clock or calculator application, for example. You will then have access to these tools wherever you are.

Other windows that you may find useful to nail are:

• a personal desktop

• your open home directory

• the X mailbox flag, xbiff

• an editing, word processing or desktop publishing application that you can carry between open directories in different work areas
