Copying pictures to the Root window

To copy a picture to the Root window:

Select the portion of the picture you want to copy. See ``Selecting an area'' for instructions. If you do not select an area, the entire picture is copied.
Select Set Root Window from the File menu.

Note that the Root window is not visible when the Desktop or another window fills the entire screen.
