Drawing with the pencil

To draw with the pencil:

1. Click on the Pencil tool in the tool palette.

2. If you want to draw with a pattern, select the desired pattern from the pattern palette.
   

3. Move the pointer to where you want to start drawing.

4. Specify the pencil's color by pressing the appropriate mouse button while you draw:

   • Mouse button 1 draws with the foreground color.

   • Mouse button 2 draws with the selected pattern using a combination of the foreground and background colors.

   • Mouse button 3 draws with the background color.
