Cutting and pasting a drawing area

To cut and paste a drawing area to another picture or another part of the current picture:

1. Select the portion of the picture you want to cut. See ``Selecting an area'' for instructions.

2. Select Cut from the Edit menu.
   

3. To paste the area to another picture, click in the drawing area for that picture.

4. Select Paste from the Edit menu. This option pastes the selection to the upper left corner of the viewing window, and you can now move it to its new location.

Once you have cut an area, you can paste it multiple times.
