Filling an area with color
To fill an area with color:
-
Click on the Fill tool
in the tool palette.
-
If you want to fill with a pattern,
select the desired pattern
from the pattern palette.
-
Determine the fill color by clicking the appropriate mouse button
in the drawing area:
-
Mouse button 1 fills the area with the foreground color.
(It fills with black in monochrome mode.)
-
Mouse button 2 fills the area with the selected pattern using
a combination of the foreground and background areas.
-
Mouse button 3 fills the area with the background color.
(It fills with white in monochrome mode.)
Filling with the <Ctrl> key depressed replaces the color of all pixels that
match the pixel under the pointer. The fill color corresponds to the mouse
button you click.
