Adding online help
SCO Visual Tcl provides direct support for two types of help:
Short help-
provides a brief description of the highlighted
widget which appears in the application without user input
Context-sensitive help-
provides context-sensitive hooks into the DocView help system and
appears in its own browser window based on user input:
pressing the help key (usually <F1>) or choosing a help
button or menu item
Additionally, you can write your own help procedure
to access a different help browser by using the
-helpCallback
dialog class option. This callback, in conjunction with
the -helpKeyCallback, allows you to specify
your own help browser when the user presses the help key.
For information on environment variables affecting help,
see
``The SCO Visual Tcl environment''.

VtDisplayHelp(VTCL),
