Advanced DNS configuration

After you create a basic DNS configuration by setting up /etc/named.conf or /etc/resolv.conf, you may fine-tune your configuration by editing resource records and other data in configuration files. If you are creating a primary server, you must create the hostname databases. Other reasons to customize your configuration include:
